Being a ‘brand’ is a commitment to contributing to the world you want to create and live in. Leaving a positive impression in the minds and hearts of those you touch. This is because brands have evolved to have greater influence and power, shaping not only our preferences and behaviours but also our cultural, social, and economic landscapes.

They are no longer something people just buy, but something they buy into. That’s why we champion businesses that choose to be a brand, to mean something. And if a brand's story is the cumulative result of their actions over time, more about what they do than what they say, then, as we see it…

Brand is a verb.

The name Chello is a derivative of the Hindi word ‘Chalo’, which means ‘Let’s go’.. It was appropriated to incorporate the idea of “A cheeky hello" to capture our inherent curiosity, and is underpinned by the idea that endless opportunities await those who are ready to take the first step. At Chello, we’re about inspiring movement and taking action.
