About the role:
The Group Account Director (GAD) at Chello is a senior leadership role, responsible for overseeing multiple client accounts, ensuring exceptional strategic and creative delivery, and driving business growth from these accounts. Acting as the primary escalation point for clients, the GAD builds strong relationships, becoming a trusted advisor by anticipating needs, recommending strategies, and providing thought leadership on market trends.
You will drive client engagement, clearly articulate and present high-level strategies, and ensure clear communication of deliverables and results. Internally, you will translate your client objectives into actionable plans, oversee the execution of integrated marketing strategies, and manage resource allocation across accounts, achieving overall revenue targets.
Your role includes motivating and mentoring your team, ensuring quality control across all client outputs, and maintaining the agency’s creative and strategic standards while protecting margins. You will collaborate with department heads to optimise client & team solutions.
As the lead for current client growth, you will contribute and drive opportunities to innovate, expand services and increase revenue from existing accounts, achieving growth and profitability targets while strengthening the agency’s position as a strategic partner. You will have experience in managing budgets.
You may be an existing GAD, or have extensive experience as a SAD within a creative agency environment. You should be totally at home with fast pace and complex integrated campaigns.
B2B experience is a bonus.
